The Brief / Challenge
To supply and install large scale, high quality images to clad Signgeer’s stand at the Sign & Digital Exhibition, as well as including a 4 meter tall super hero.
What We Did / Outcome
For the large format wall graphics, we printed direct to 3mm Foamex panels using a flatbed digital UV inkjet printer. We applied a full self-adhesive backing to the rear of the Foamex, for fast and effective site installation. This process is great for one time application, especially when a super fast installation is key.
For the super hero, we created the shape out of 25mm MFMDF using our in-house CNC machine. We painted the edges white and direct-printed the face of the MDF using a flatbed digital UV inkjet printer. We then applied a clear protective laminate over the face, to protect the print for future events.
